Broadplace’s New Projector

Following many complaints over the last few years of faint and unsharp presentations and, more particularly, photographs, Pontesbury Broadplace applied for a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund’s Awards for All. We are pleased to say we were successful!
Some of the comments we have received at the first three outings have been:
“I was sitting at the back and could read every word which I would not have been able to normally.”
“Stunning colour and resolution.”
“The new projector is brilliant – literally.”
“The colour rendition is very good, I will now start bringing some of my photographs along again, I stopped because they were so washed out and unsharp I felt I had wasted my time adjusting them.”
As with our previous projector, it is available for use by local groups. Please contact broadplace.pontesbury@gmail.com for further information. The Broadplace is still open 50 weeks of the year on Thursdays from 2:00 to 8:00 (though we do shut at about 7:30 if we have no visitors).
