Winter Wander

If you take a walk up Pontesbury Hill to the very top of the Tarmac road, and bear left for 80 to 100 yards, the ground has been partly cleared and picnic benches built. This area has been decorated with a sculpture in local oak timber, and school children from around the south of the county have made ceramic discs. The discs are fitted into the oak and into some of the way markers locally.
Look out for a walk to be published shortly following this trail. Several areas of the woods have been cleared for the benefit of wildlife, animals, insects, and plants and we have to thank the Stiperstones and Corndon Hill Country Scheme for making all of this happen,
employing volunteers from far and wide to enhance our back yard.
